Self-pay prices

What you pay with no insurance. Every one of these excludes medications and labs, which are billed separately — so the daily rate is not the whole bill, and we would rather say that here than on the invoice.

What you pay with insurance

Between $0 and $5,000, depending on your plan. The low end is real: if you have already met your out-of-pocket maximum for the year, you may pay nothing at all.

How that number is worked out

  1. 1 Your plan sets an allowed amount for each day of care.
  2. 2 Until your deductible is met, you pay that amount.
  3. 3 After the deductible, you pay only your coinsurance share.
  4. 4 Once you reach your out-of-pocket maximum, you pay nothing more for the year.

An example, with made-up numbers

6 days of care
$4,800
Deductible left to meet
$1,000
Your 20% of the remaining $3,800
$760
You pay
$1,760

Illustrative only. Your plan's allowed amount, deductible and out-of-pocket maximum are all specific to you — which is what the benefit check on the phone establishes, in a few minutes, for free.

Questions about paying

How much does detox cost without insurance?
Inpatient detox is $900 a day in Austin and Houston, which is $4,500 to $6,300 for a typical five to seven day stay. Outpatient detox in San Antonio is $350 a day. Medications and labs are billed separately.
What will I pay if I have insurance?
Most insured clients pay between $0 and $5,000, depending on how much of your deductible and out-of-pocket maximum you have already met. If you have met your out-of-pocket maximum for the year, you may pay nothing.
Do you take Medicaid and Medicare?
Yes, both, and TRICARE. Call and we will run the benefit check before you commit to anything.
Is a deposit required?
No. Payment is normally taken at the time of admission rather than in advance.
Are payment plans available?
Contact admissions for terms. We are not publishing specific interest or duration terms, because a published financing term is a contract term and ours vary by situation.
What if I cannot afford it?
Say so on the call. Reduced rates are considered case by case, and it is a better conversation to have before admission than after.
