Inpatient treatment after detox

Inpatient treatment is where the work moves from the body to what put you here. You live on site, the days are structured, and there is nothing to manage except the treatment. It is delivered at Nova Recovery Center, which owns Briarwood — so the handoff out of detox is internal rather than a referral to a stranger.

What happens

  • Residential care with the day built around treatment rather than around you
  • Individual and group work on what detox alone does not address
  • Co-occurring anxiety, depression and trauma treated alongside the substance use
  • Family involved where that helps, and boundaries held where it does not
  • Arranged straight from detox — one admissions team, one insurance check

Is this the right level?

  • Detox is done or nearly done, and going home would mean going back to the same day
  • Outpatient treatment has been tried before and did not hold
  • Home is not currently a place where staying sober is realistic

When it is not

If you can hold a job and a home while doing the work, outpatient treatment is usually the better fit and far less disruptive.

Straight answers

Inpatient treatment — common questions

Who provides inpatient treatment?

Nova Recovery Center, our parent company, delivers it. The same admissions team arranges it, so it is one call rather than a referral to a stranger.

Is inpatient treatment right for me?

Detox is done or nearly done, and going home would mean going back to the same day. Outpatient treatment has been tried before and did not hold. An assessment confirms it either way, and we will say so if it is not.

What if it is not the right level of care?

If you can hold a job and a home while doing the work, outpatient treatment is usually the better fit and far less disruptive.

Does insurance cover it?

Most major insurance covers medically necessary treatment, and Briarwood is in network with 18 carriers. Coverage varies by plan, so benefits are verified free before anything is scheduled.

How soon can I start?

Admissions is staffed 24 hours a day and availability changes daily, so a call is the only way to get a real answer for today.

Not sure this is the right level?

That is what the call is for. Admissions works out where to start and places you across all three of our brands — you do not have to pick.
